Giving Blankets to the Homeless in Seoul
Kindness Theory Project #1: Giving to the Homeless
South Korea has its fair share of wonderful things from delicious food, fast internet, and rich culture, but behind the flashy lights and the high-rise buildings, lies an unsolved socioeconomic issue of elderly poverty.
Korea has one of the highest relative income poverty rates in the OECD with almost half of the elderly living under this poverty line.
That made me think. What can I do? I decided to start my first Kindness Theory project by giving 300 masks, 300 heat packs, and 30 blankets to the homeless in Seoul.
